My Ever Faithful And Loving Companion

Lily. The name of the best pet I have ever had. She is the true mirror of me in a dog. Adventurous, goofy, loyal, curious, and, well, a bit absent-minded. She has all the traits that I posess which is why we just get each other so well. She is always ready to go on a journey with me, even though she has no idea where we're going. She loves to go explore with me, to see and smell new things. Shes my bestest bud, always happy to see me. And most of all she is the only one who is always there for me, always wants to be by my side, never judges me and never gets mad at me. She just loves me, and for that I love her back with all my heart. What more could I ask for?

My Lover, The Ocean

I have come to the realization that my love affair with the ocean is the most essential and important part of my life. The water has a calling and a draw to it that I have never been able to resist. The seductive nature of the deep blues and greens of the water, the colors of the life it contains, all pull me in as a moth is pulled into a flame. When I am in the water I am at home and all my stresses melt away. I leave the real world behind and am instantly happy and relaxed. In the water it's just me, free to do as I please with no boundaries. That's why I love the water and the ocean, it gives me freedom. And that's why I'll never be able to live without it.
